Cabinet Member report for Award of Contract for Lift Services.

1.         That in accordance with Paragraph 3 of schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 this report be exempt from publication in that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding the information).

2.         That the Cabinet Member for Housing approved the award of a ten year term contract to the preferred bidder for the passenger lift services to domestic flat blocks within CityWest Home’s Housing Revenue Accounts (HRA) stock to the sum per annum as detailed in this report.

Reasons for Decision

1.         The passenger lift services will ensure the Council’s housing stock continue to meet the decent homes standard.

2.         This contract will support the Council’s plans to in its existing housing stock over the next 10 years.
