To receive an update on current and forthcoming issues within the portfolios of the Cabinet Member for Adults & Public Health and Cabinet Member for Public Protection. The briefings also include responses to any written questions raised by Members in advance of the Committee meeting.

To receive a verbal update on any significant activity undertaken since the Committee’s last meeting.

Human Trafficking

To also receive a briefing on the work of the Human Trafficking Foundation.

II) WESTMINSTER HEALTHWATCH

To receive an update on the delivery of current priorities, and on the future Work Programme.

To hold to account the work of the Westminster Health & Wellbeing Board, including the Sustainability and Transformation Plans.

To consider how the Community Independence Service is delivering its objectives after a year of operation, and to also consider successes and challenges.

Report to Follow

To consider the data that the Committee would wish to receive on a regular basis, to assist in the scrutiny of the services of the City Council and its partners in the Westminster Community Safety Partnership.

To consider and agree the Committee’s Work Programme for the 2016-17 municipal year.

To provide Committee Members with the opportunity to comment on items which may have been previously circulated for information.

To consider any other business which the Chairman considers urgent.
