Purpose:
The City Council is designated as a Lead Local
Flood Authority (LLFA) under the Flood and Water Management Act
2010. It must publish a LFRMS as part of its LLFA duties
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for City Highways approved the LFRMS for publication on the City Council’s website. The approved LFRMS will be in place for a period of six years until 2023 at which time it will be reviewed and updated and subject to a further approval.
The City Council, as required by law, must have an approved LFRMS in place to demonstrate it is meeting its statutory duties as a LLFA under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
