Cabinet Member approval sought for award of contract.

1.            That this report be exempt from disclosure by virtue of the Local Government Act 1972 Schedule 12A, Part 1, paragraph 3 (as amended), in that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).

2.         That the Cabinet Member for Housing approved the award of a contract for Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to the preferred bidders.

3.         That the Cabinet Member for Housing noted that these contracts are being awarded, following a negotiated tender process, for a term of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 3 years in 3 x 12 months’ instalments and that the contract is effective from the 1^st April 2018.

Technical submission was considered to be robust and well documented. The Evaluation Panel are confident that the bidders understood the requirements of the specification and their proposal provided good evidence and assurances of their service delivery models.
