Purpose:

This cabinet member report summarises the outcome of the re-procurement of Rough Sleeping Outreach Services in Westminster. The report requests approval to award the contract to the winning bidder.

Decision:

1.            That this report be exempt from disclosure by virtue of the Local Government Act 1972 Schedule 12A, Part 1, paragraph 3 (as amended), in that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).

 

2.            That the Cabinet Member for Housing approved the award of a contract for Street Engagement Services and a contract for Entrenched Rough Sleeper Services to the preferred bidder and noted the costs involved for Street Engagement Services and Entrenched Rough Sleeper Services contracts, including options to extend, as detailed in the report.

 

Reasons for Decision 

The re-procurement has presented the opportunity to incorporate learning from examples of best practice within the homelessness sector and integrate the City Council’s 3-Tiered Support and Enforcement Model as a key element of service delivery.
