Appointment of Relief Chairman

To appoint a relief Chairman.

Minutes:

1.1      It was moved by the Lord Mayor and seconded by Councillor Paul Swaddle that Councillor Ian Adams be elected as Relief Chairman.

 

1.2      Motion put and declared CARRIED.

2.1      RESOLVED: The minutes of the proceedings at the Council meeting held on Wednesday 21 April 2021 were, with the assent of the Members present, signed by the Lord Mayor as a true record of the proceedings.

1.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Friday April 16th, he attended the Service of Commemoration for HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh at St John's Hyde Park

 

2,         The Lord Mayor to report that, also on Friday April 16th, he attended the Sung Requiem Eucharist for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at The Abbey

 

3.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Saturday April 24th, he attended the Royal Society of St George Cenotaph Parade & Abbey Service

 

4.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Sunday April 25th, he attended the ANZAC Day service at The Abbey

 

5.               The Lord Mayor to report that, also on Sunday April 25th, he attended the Evensong of Thanksgiving for St George The Martyr at St John's Church, Kensal Green

 

6.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Wednesday May 12th, he attended a Service to Commemorate the Life of Florence Nightingale at The Abbey

 

7.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Monday May 17th, Evensong to Celebrate the Installation of Sir Kenneth Olisa as High Bailiff at The Abbey

 

8.               The Lord Mayor to report that, also on Monday May 17th, he attended the Opening Event and Performance of ‘The Mousetrap’ at St Martin’s Theatre, West Street

 

9.               The Lord Mayor to report that, on Friday 21st May, he attended the Chilean Naval Day Wreath Laying Ceremony at The Abbey

 

10.           The Lord Mayor to report that, on Tuesday 25th May, he attended the Westminster Tree Trust Planting Event outside Wigmore Hall, 36 Wigmore Street

 

11.           The Lord Mayor to report that, on Thursday 27th May, he attended a Luncheon with the HMS Westminster Command Team at The House of St Barnabas, 1 Greek Street.
