Notice will be given of the following:

a) All Key Decisions to be taken by the Cabinet, a Committee of the Cabinet or an individual Cabinet Member;
b) Executive non-Key Decisions to be taken by the above decision-makers, wherever possible;
c) All private meetings of the Cabinet;
d) All decisions to be taken under General Exception or Special Urgency provisions;

Key Decisions are defined by statute as:

(a)  Decisions likely to result in the Council incurring expenditure which is, or the making of savings which are, significant having regard to the Council's budget for the service or function to which the decision relates; or

(b)  To be significant in terms of its effects on communities living or working in an area comprising two or more wards or electoral divisions in the area of the Council.

10/08/2020 - Community Equipment Services Procurement Exercise

The current contract was awarded to Medequip as part of the London Community Equipment Consortium framework in April 2017 for a period of 4 years with the option of a 1 + 1 extension to supply community and specialist equipment for Adults and Children. The London Community Equipment Consortium is hosted by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and under the Bi-Borough arrangements, Westminster will lead on the re-procurement of the Consortium Framework. The Consortium is currently made up of 21 London Boroughs, with an average total net spend of £88m, with Westminster’s sovereign contract annual net spend equating to an average of £1.8m; the new framework will be for a period of 5 years with the option of a 1 + 1 extension.

10/08/2020 - Contract Extension Request for Community Equipment Services

The current contract was awarded to Medequip as part of the London Community Equipment Consortium framework in April 2017 for a period of 4 years with the option of a 1 + 1 extension to supply community and specialist equipment for Adults and Children. This request is to approve the extension of the existing contract for a period of one year from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022 and agree delegated responsibility to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care to exercise the option of the second year extension, if the forthcoming procurement process is delayed as a result of Covid-19. The annual spend for WCC is approximately £1.8m which therefore requires a key decision as it is above the £1.5m threshold.

03/08/2020 - Accommodation based flexible support and care for residents with a learning disability

Renewal of expired contractual arrangements for several providers delivering a range of services for residents with a learning disability and/or autism, some of whom have additional complex physical health needs and/or behaviours which can challenge services.
The services are delivered from registered residential care homes, shared supported accommodation and individual tenancies, and support the council in meeting its statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014.
